*Quickly press and release the Volume Up button. *Quickly press and release the Volume Down button. *Press and hold the Side (Power) button. *Keep holding even when the "Slide to power off" slider appears. Repair Steps
*Power Down & Bottom Screws: Turn off the iPhone. Remove the two Pentalobe P2 screws located on either side of the Lightning charging port. *Heat the Edge: Use a heat gun or hairdryer to warm the front edges of the phone for about 2 minutes. This softens the waterproof adhesive seal. *Lifting the Screen: Attach a suction cup to the bottom of the screen. Pull up firmly to create a small gap and insert a thin opening pick. Slide the pick around the perimeter. Note: Flip the screen open to the right side (like a book). Do not pull it away entirely yet, as cables are still attached. *Disconnect Battery & Display: Use a Tri-point Y000 screwdriver to remove the 5 screws holding the metal cover over the logic board connectors. ^Crucial: Use a plastic spudger to pop the battery connector off first to prevent a short circuit. *Disconnect the two display cables and the front sensor cable. *Transfer the Face ID Sensor: The iPhone 11 screen has the ear speaker and sensor assembly screwed into the back of the top. You must unscrew this (3 screws) and move it to the new screen. If you don't use the original sensor, Face ID will stop working. *Test the New Screen: Connect the new screen cables and the battery. Turn the phone on to check for touch functionality and brightness before applying the final adhesive. *Re-Seal and Close: Turn the phone back off. Apply a new waterproof gasket to the frame. Lay the screen back down, click it into the clips, and reinstall the two bottom Pentalobe screws.
